Managing Towers and People who use scaffold towers is a potentially Daunting task and huge responsibility if you don’t know what “good” looks like. Can You be sure your workers have chosen the right tower, built it correctly to the Manufacturers Specification to ensure stability and Collective Fall Prevention at all times ?.
To comply with any Health and Safety at Work, Work at Height & Safe Use of Equipment Regulations, you must be competent to supervise work on/with towers. If Regulations are breached there can be huge consequences for managers – including fines and prison sentences – This course will ensure you’re equipped and trained for the task.
PASMA Towers for managers:
Will equip you with the Technical/specific knowledge you need to keep your towers legal and trouble free. This 1 Day course can be carried out on-line Zoom/Teams, in person one of our approved PASMA training centres or on any of your sites with one of our PASMA LEAD instructors. You can then go back to work knowing you can confidently
- Support your Working at Height/tower teams better on site
- Send them back to their family safe after every Job
- Meet all of your legal Duties
- Inspect Mobile Access Towers
- Identify different tower types/courses/uses
- Allocate your staff to the correct Courses and Tower work
- Understand & Check Qualifications of Contractors/subbies
Through theoretical and group exercises, this course teaches you what to look for before, during and after work. There is no official practical work involved in this course however there can be some hands on should you feel you can benefit from it. But generally No hard hats or tower climbing required!

This course is aimed at anyone who manages or supervises Towers/Tower operatives and have responsibilities to ensure work is properly planned, organised and carried out in a safe manner, including:
- Those new to managing towers/users
- Those who already manage towers/users but have never had formal training
- Those refreshing their qualification or renewing an expired card
- Those wanting to update an existing Towers For Users Qualification
